You can request deletion of your Ingreda account in either of these ways:
- Inside the Ingreda app by going to the profile/settings area and using the Delete account option.
- By emailing ingredasupport@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Ingreda account and requesting account deletion.
What data is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, Ingreda will delete or remove from active use the account data associated with your account, including:
- account profile information
- saved scans
- saved recipes and favorites
- uploaded images associated with your account
- active session and refresh token records
What may be retained
Certain limited information may be retained where permitted or required by law, or for legitimate business and security purposes, including:
- backup and archival copies for a limited retention period
- fraud prevention or abuse-prevention records
- records needed for dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of agreements
How long deletion may take
We aim to process account deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe after verification of the request. Some retained data in backups or archives may persist temporarily until routine cleanup cycles are completed.
